I have always enjoyed the variety of metaphors and word pictures the Bible uses to help Christians understand "who they are." This worship song was inspired by the evangelism group of pictures - we're like stars, leaven, witnesses, salt and light, fishermen, ambassadors, watchmen on the walls and priests offering up a sacrifice to God, to name just a few. With exciting images like those, how can witnessing be viewed negatively? After all, it's Good News we've got to share!
