This is a very strong and powerful arrangement of one of the best known hymns of all time. The violinist is prominent throughout, utilizing double stops and higher positions. From the hymnal comes this solo violin and piano arrangement of one of the all-time favorites. It works very well as a call to worship or an offertory. The violin part extends to fifth position. From it’s fanfare like opening set in E to the "B" section set in the more tranquil key of F, this one really helps set the mind for worship.
