This piano/sax arrangement invites the listener to consider "When Does Jesus Call In My Life?" through the musical interpretation of the hymn verses.
Jesus calls us 1) Over the tumult (Sax solo); 2) In our joys and sorrows (5/4); 3) By the mercies (piano solo, waltz); 4) from each idol (swing jazz); 5) His sweet voice soundeth.
Though based on traditional hymn and intended to be used in worship, be advised it may not be suited for a stringently traditional worship service because of the jazzy tone of interpretation #4 and rhythmic complexities throughout.
