The title is an unsophisticated pun on Berio's Sequenza series of masterpieces. This is a light-hearted frolic which, in 13 mins., packs in a pastorale, fanfares, classical-type sonatina, blues, sunrise (with inevitable birdsong), Gaelic lament and a finale, based on the most banal tune ever written, which culminates in an operatic mad scene. There is absolutely no reason for any of this. (First performance will be by the Maskarade Quartet at the Garrick Theatre, Lichfield Sat Jan. 26th) 10/03/08 First performance went very well but a few revisions have been made since. 27/2/09 A few minor adjutments
