Dedicated to the memory of John Hand.
After a dodgy start the first performance settled down and seemed to be very well received.
I've made a few revisions since.

From shimmering strings to full orchestra composer Peter Owen's 2007 work Adagio for Orchestra conveyed a grandeur and an air of expectancy.
It was a clean performance, which proved an inviting opener to the rest of the concert.
