In March 2004 I had the chance to present a work in public as part of an arts seminar. I decided to arrange the original piano version of this work for string quartet (since there was no piano available). The structures are almost the same, but there are changes in the orchestration to accomodate and bring out the capabilities of the string instruments, such as the cappricious violin solos at the beginning and end of the work which were never in the piano version.
