An original song on the theme of Righteousness by Faith, in the Celtic style.

The feel is intimate, as if sung to oneself. My wife thought a quartet arrangement would run roughshod over the feeling, but I was determined to prove her wrong.

The words should guide the rubato and phrasing. Especially do not drag out the last note of inner phrases (eg m. 15), as that destroys the flow. On the phrase "come for me", put the accent on "come", and let the phrase trail off.

As the different voices join the lead on the verse, they should sneak in quitely, gradually filling out the sound.

The dissonance in m. 15 is inspired by Dvorak’s "Going Home" theme.
