This Piece is inspired by the Native American legend of Hummingbird and how he recovered tobacco for all the world:

Long ago, when men and animals spoke the same language, there was only one tobacco plant in the world. Goose wanted this tobacco all to himself and so he stole the plant. The men and animals called a great council to discuss how to get the tobacco back from Goose.

Hummingbird voluntered to retrieve the plant, and the man and animals said, "You are far too small. Goose will eat you!" But Hummingbird was adamant and so they agreed to let him try.

When he encountered Goose, Hummingbird flew so fast that Goose could not see him. He reached the tobbaco plant and snagged a single sprig, which he brought back to the men and animals. The sprig was planted and afterwards all men had tobacco
