This piece is from the IVth act of Purcells opera "King Arthur". It was written as a Passacaglia for choir, soloists, strings and oboes. The arrangement is for SATB recorders and harpsichord. The "Nymphes" as well as the "Silvains" can be played by soloists or by the Tutti-recorders.
