A cheery piece from a series I wrote for a Primary School recorder group in the mid-nineties. Mindful of the fact that young children enjoy repeating what they have recently learned, I made this a more extended piece which - though the recorder part is very simple - has a jaunty accompaniment with a varied harmonic structure resulting in a satisfying item for a public performance, (e.g. a concert for parents).
