This piece is for orchestra plus a narrator. The narration is about the town of Herndon–its history and its attractions. One could quite easily substitute a different narration, so that the piece could pertain to another town or city. Please feel free to do this!

The musical style is Americana–a combination of original melodies plus traditional folk tunes. There are lots of doubling cues in many of the instruments, so even if a couple of instruments are missing from an orchestra, others may take their important parts.
