Habanera Nights is an energetic harp duet of mixed difficulty–-Harp 1 may play the part as a solo, and is of early Intermediate level, while Harp 2 is very easy for Beginners. The tune, based on the Habanera dance, evokes old Spain with the strong tango-type rhythms and syncopation throughout. Harp 1 requires a full-range lever harp, while Harp 2 goes down to E below Middle C, making it friendly for most small harps. One pre-set G# in Harp 1, and two lever changes in Harp 2 from G to G# and back. Plenty of time is allowed for the changes. Key of Am. Instructions on how to extend this arr. are included. Published by Lyrica Press.
