Edvard Hagerup Grieg (1843-1907) is a romantic norwegian composer and pianist. His discovery of Norwegian folklore and peasant dances in 1863 made him an inexhaustible militant of national musical art all his life. He will compose his most famous works in the orchestral field, such as the Piano Concerto in A minor and Peer Gynt.
