You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. The composition was published in 1916 by Walter Jacobs. Filled with clock sounds of ticking and chiming and key winding, the music brings to mind nostalgic imagery of Grandfathers Clock. This piece is unrelated to the popular childrens song. I wish to thank Brendan Elliget for his precious contribution to the arrangement. Check out his tunes in sibelius…he is great !! This is my arrangement for military band of this forgotten jolly tune!!
Note for the Conductor:
Please respect expression signs, a f should be considered as a mf for brass and f for woodwinds. Cornets should be preferred to trumpets and Eb horns to F horns. A good piccolo player and/or piccolo clarinet player is needed as well as good percussionist. Please try to recreate the sounds of an old mechanic clock using the percussions as indicated in the score. Please drop me an email ( fonkeedaryoo@yahoo.co.uk) if you decide to perform this for further note. Cheers
