Go to Dark Gethsemane, verses 1, 2, 4. Cathy Stamegna has inserted a phrase of Pachelbel’s Canon with Scripture (based on Isaiah 53:5, 7; Matthew 26:40) within each verse. The hymn begins at Gethsemane and ends with “He is risen! Alleluia!” Both parts are notated in the treble clef, yet appropriate for a mixed chorus. Performance Time: 3:43.
