This is the "Glory to God in the Highest" from the traditional western liturgy, with some modifications to the text. This setting is rather mild as a contemporary setting, more folk than rock. This ancient text is a powerful hymn of praise to the Lord who has forgiven our sins, and hears our prayers. This is a more traditional setting of this piece, which can also be found on SibeliusMusic for piano and vocal.
