As with many of my compositions, this one was written for a specific purpose (in this case, it was commissioned) and never used!
The school I was working at were presenting a thirty-minute 'The Tempest', and I was asked to write some music for it. This, along with two or three other pieces, were what came out of it.
The performance went ahead, I believe, and I don't actually know if any of the music got into it!? Anyway, here it is for you to enjoy.
