It is based on a tale of obsession by an American writer. There is a musical clue which will tell you the story. Until I become proficient as a librettist (or can find one!) the music shall continue to exist as being "… from an unwritten opera". The musical ideas are simple. They are rhythmic and motivic. There is a tendency to the flat keys, but these are not explicit.
