This composition for solo clarinet was premiered at the prestigious St Martin in the Fields in London in 2013. This miniature piece starts with a passage exploiting multiple-sounds techniques to set a "pastorale" kind of atmosphere before a short passage of serial music with typically operatic melodic lines before a finale that also uses glissando and growling techniques.
