A lost unpublished gem of the romantic flute repertoire by the Danish composer Johannes Frederik Frøhlich. The piece is written in a typical sonata form with four movements. Beautiful melodies, colorful harmonic modulations, lively rhythm and a clear yet intricate structure make this Duo in C minor one of the best written pieces for a flute duo in the literature. In this edition some minor corrections of articulation and accidentals are made, but generally it follows the original. For the reference there is included also an URTEXT transcription of the manuscript.
