About the Composer:
Filippo Capocci (1840–1911) was an esteemed Italian organist and composer. Renowned for his dedication to nineteenth-century musical aesthetics, Capocci avoided theatrical styles and focused on a purist approach to performance and composition. His career highlights include performances at the 1889 Paris World Fair and his esteemed membership in the American Guild of Organists.
