A fanfare based on the traditional Scottish tune "Bonnie Dundee". It was first played by fanfare trumpeters from the Band of 51 Highland Brigade to open a Beating of the Retreat Ceremony in Forfar, Angus in summer 1998. Whilst intended to be played on fanfare instruments, it will work well with normal Bb trumpets or cornets playing the trumpet parts, normal trombones or even euphoniums playing the trombone parts and a bass trombone or tuba playing the bass fanfare part.
