This is the first movement to a symphony under the Spanish title "Soliloquios" (Soliloquies), which I started writing in 1967 on the campus of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City while I was studying Architecture, here in a version for classical symphony orchestra so that it can be played by smaller ensembles, as, for instance, the one conducted by Gregorz Nowak of Florida International University (FIU).
