Erta Ale is an active volcano in Ethiopia in a location that is considered to be the hottest place on Earth. The region has been called "The Gateway to Hell". I first learned of this volcano in a Netflix film called "Into the Inferno". This music is another atmospheric piece similar in character to "Laika" and "In the Cave of Montesinos".
