Emma Louise Ashford (1850-1930) was an accomplished organist, composer, and music editor. She wrote over 600 compositions and served as an editor at Lorenz Publishing Company from 1894 to 1930. Born in Newark, Delaware, she received early musical training from her father and went on to hold several prestigious organist positions in Nashville, Tennessee.
