The recording sounds a little mechanical but that way its easy for a student to grasp the unique feel of this type of syncopation. When done well the left hand stands alone almost as a melody line while the right hand sustains the feel.
I developed it slightly at the end but the hard part is to not drift to far from the style when playing some melodic right hand bits. The chord progression is simple Dm7 G7 Cmaj7 etc. but many passing chords and bass notes can easily be slipped in after mastering this simple tune exercise.
