This short 12 bar Blues I composed is suitable for any student or player who has not had any easy way to get into this style. I have been teaching piano for over 40 years and it seems the best way to learn this style is to listen to a lot of great players and try to pick up that swing or shuffle feel that is so important. Play this short blues straight on the beat as 8ths. or swing the 8ths and see what happens. I've also used some common left hand elements and some c blues scales lines , purposely keeping things simple to pick up. Later you can easily improvise using the very same chords and scale notes but just mix it up and have fun. That's the Blues !
