After reading "Don Quixote" this spring I was Greatly impressed with his optimism and outstanding moral character (despite his madness). Although he eventually renounced his "knight-errantry" as utter follishness, I still feel that he would have made a noble and just ruler. This short organ work imagines the knight being crowned king in front of his faithful squire, Sancho panza, and his peerless Lady Dulcinea.
