This piece "Dobberen"(="Floating") was inspired by several other composers (a.o. Satie: gnossiennes, Schubert:"auf dem wasser zu singen", Faur?: barcarolles). This piece depicts a person floating on an airbed on a lake or swimming pool, contemplating the water he floats on, being the source of life. This small piece is one out of 4 miniatures, which i also recorded on a cd labelled "Water, the life source." More info on this cd can be found at www.tjakovanschie.com/watercd.htm Enjoy it!
