this work requires some info. the subtitle of this composition is "jazz meets classic" and was the main theme of the contest it was written for. Also the used instrumentation was obliged. It was a "classic" section with eight strings and fluegelhorn and a "jazzcombo" with trumpet. At the time no winner was actually proclamed. This work exists of three more or less integrated themes with influences of Ibdullah Ibrahim (Dollar Brand), Georges Russell and Sun Ra, sometimes accompagnied by, sometimes in junxtapuncture with, sometimes overruled by the string section that exiqted of four violins, two alto's , one cello and one bass, tey are written with a touch of Giacomo Scelsi sometimes using quartertone techniques. As for the playback: sometimes men can still do better than machines. This composition will no be played appropriately through simulationtechniques.
