Der Tod und das Mädchen (Death and the Maiden), op. 7, no. 3.
An arrangement for voice and string quartet of one of Schubert's best-known Lieder. The same music was of course re-used in the variations movement of the 'Death and the Maiden' quartet, and the string arrangement here is based loosely on Schubert's arrangement there.
