The John Nepomuceno Hilbert March, in honour of my friend Juan Nepomuceno Jesús Hilbert Flores, born 8 June 1929 at San Luis de la Paz, State of Guanajuato, Mexico. He served in the Korean War and afterwards worked as an English teacher at The Mexican-American Institute of Cultural Relations and a commercial school. I met him for the first time on an excursion to old Spanish monasteries in the State of Puebla, at Tecali, Zacatlán de las Manzanas, Tepeaca, Huejotzingo and Calpan on 6 February 1977.
