David's City was conceived as a pop cantata for Junior (7-11 year old) children. It is based on the life story of King David - using 'Once in royal David's city' as a starting point. It can be performed with as little as one piano part and unison voices, but I composed it to give as many children as possible the opportunity to play instruments too - so the score is full of opportunities! [I was lucky to have a Parent/Teacher/Friend Choir too, so this song was designed for 4-part choir, although it could be sung with unison voices on the Soprano line accompanied by piano] I also wrote a script and would be happy to share this if required. 'No one seems keen…' is written for 4 part choir (sung by PTF choir in my first performance), but could easily be sung by unison voices singing the soprano line, accompanied by piano. [I suggest you transpose down to D major if doing it this way]
