For you that follow this site, I think this is pretty close to the final version of the first movement. This piano concerto has been inspired in a letter that I wrote three years ago while having dinner at Seattle: "Crimson, orange and dark gray adorned the spectacular sunset over the Puget Sound. I was contemplating the amazing sunset, and inevitably, thinking of you, on how much I miss you, and how much would you enjoy being there with me…"
