This is a modern-classical (i.e. post-romantic) concerto for trumpet and large orchestra. It was composed in 2011-12. It consists of three movements: a lively movement in abbreviated rondo form (ABABA), a slow movement more or less in AB-form, and a fast and relaxed finale in rondo form (with a heroic Spanish like middle section). Enough possibilities for the soloist to show off (but not so difficult as my concertino). There is a cadenza in the third movement. Please do not listen through MIDI but enjoy the MP3 made on the basis of a recording in Sibelius 4.1 with Kontakt Player Gold.
