This is a modern-classical (i.e. neoclassical, not really modern) trombone concerto. It was composed in 2007 and revised in 2015 and 2024. The 1st movement is moderately fast, solemn and epic, and in sonata form. The 2nd movement is slow, solemn and moving, and in Lied form (ABA). The final movement is fast, joyous and heroic, and in rondo form. There is a cadenza in the final movement. Please enjoy the digital performance in Sibelius 6 with Garritan Personal Orchestra, and feel free to review under the video on my YouTube-channel. Also play along videos (with just the accompaniment) are on my YouTube-channel.
