This violin concerto is dedicated to Almut Seidel, the first concert master of Concertino Goettingen, my orchestra. After a time of try out I am planning to write a score for string orchestra. Although the violin is my main instrument this is the first time I am trying to employ virtuoso elements. As Almut is a very good solo violinist with a great amount of expressive power I couldn�t make it too easy.
