This short overture has been written for a quintet of 2 trumpets, 1 horn,1 trombone and tuba with additional "easy" 2nd horn and 2nd trombone parts. It was written to give the bass instruments in my school band something interesting to play. The Concert Overture has had many performances and has proved enjoyable for the players and the audience.
