Inspired in part by a piece of the same name and also in part by friends and companions I've had, this piece tries to capture all that happens in a relationship, from having a great time together to the stormy arguments that remind us how great the good times really are. "Companions" features a duet for male or female (feel free to transpose the score to suit your needs): two friends reminiscing the joys and pains of being friends.
