This piece starts with a chorale played andante. The B section starts the devlopement with a solo violin (optional) at the same tempo. This is followed by a change in meter and tempo at C. The feel is fairly light at this point. At D go into a more march-like feel and at D slow it down a bit to the end.
This was written for a high school orchestra. The melody appears in all sections so the students "don't get bored"!
