"Childhood" is a short piece for violin solo (suitable for beginners) and orchestra written by Edwin Sung. This piece was written right after some flashbacks of his happy childhood memories, including his first violin lesson when he was 6. Meanwhile, he decided to make the solo tune playable by beginner violinists as a reward for their efforts on learning to play violin. Moreover, the orchestration of this piece should encourage more keen people to appreciate and learn classical instruments and music. Date published: 24th January, 2015 Enjoy!
