"Chanson d’amour" is a poem by Armand Silvestre, 1882, from "Le Pays de Roses", in "Vers pour être chantés"; it has also been set to music by Alain M. Jacques. Literal translation (AJ):

Chorus: I love your eyes, I love your forehead, Oh my rebellious one, Oh my untamed one! I love your eyes, I love your mouth Where my kisses will get exhausted.

1. I love your voice, I love the strange Grace of all what you say Oh my rebellious one, Oh my dear angel My hell and my paradise!

Chorus

2. I love all what makes you beautiful From your feet to your hair, Oh you towards whom surge my wishes, Oh my untamed one, Oh my rebellious one!

Chorus
