This is one of my compositions related to my interest in astronomy. The shape of the constellation Cassiopeia is the basis for the notational shape of the theme which after quite a bit of hesiation comes in full light at measures 52 and 53. All that came before and what follows after these two measures is a development of the five note motive of the theme. The piece ends quietly and peacefully like the cosmos as it seems from our perspective.
