French 16th century melody used by Father Brebeuf to write a Carol for the Huron Indians of Canada in 1641. This arrangement is for SATB choir and organ, though of course, any keyboard would suffice. It is easy with only the tuning of the cromatic parts needing care and was written for the Broadstairs and St Peter’s Singers Town Carol Concert.

Review: A very well written version of a favourite carol. The vocal lines are easy to sing and good variety of texture is produced with each verse. I enjoyed the piece very much and am sure that it will become a welcome addition to the repertoire of many choirs. (Barry J. Ball)

"Jesse Edgar Middleton, author of the lyrics to the Huron Carol, died in 1960. These words passed into the public domain on January 1, 2011. Therefore, you are free to use these lyrics as you see fit, and no permission is required from us." (The Frederick Harris Music Co., Limited.)
