You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Arrangement for Brass band of this popular choral work by Gabriel Faure, a piece which amply demonstrates his characteristic, extraordinarily beautiful, use of harmony. The piece is straightforward in most parts except for the horns who need a degree of stamina, rather than dexterity, to carry through their constantly rolling triplets. It is their parts that have led me to rate this as a difficult piece.
The part of the organ is performed by the basses and the horns whilst the cornets, trombones and euphoniums take on the role of the choir.
