This is a lively song, with lots of scope for fun performance ideas. With easy English and Spanish words, elements of dance, 'attitude acting' and percussion, it is a useful piece to get together quickly for school performances and events. It works well with piano, guitar, or a full band with brass and samba drums. It has been used extensively in schools in the north. North Lakes School, Penrith, start by leaning on each other, arms folded, tapping their feet and looking bored, then spring into action with "This!'. Actions for walking, talking and singing can be individualised. In the Canta! section, echoing the call with claps works well. For a riotous ending, gradually speed up the A section and end with a YEAH!
