By the Lake is a lyrical romantic piece in 3/4 time in ternary form and in concert A minor at the outset, with a barcarolle like middle section in F major for variety before returning to the main theme and ending. It is around associated boards grade 5/early intermediate in level of difficulty.
I have set it to early intermediate, but the whole score is on the youtube link for you to assess the suitability.
The range in total, is around two octaves with the lowest valued note being a quaver.
