So this is my arrangement of the norwegian folk song "Bruremarsj fra lødingen" (bridal march from lødingen) which has been made famous by the guitarist and singer Halvdan Sivertsen who has added lyrics to this melody and tweaked it a bit to fit his lyrics as well for that matter. Anyway a friend of mine wanted this to be perform at her wedding. At my disposal I had a string quartet, a singer and me a the organ. Her wishes were that every musician participated in the recessional music. So this is my arrangement from that occasion. feel free to use it, just tell me about it beforehand and I’d appreciate that very much!
One note which I’m bit proud of, my intention was to "flirt" a bit with Bach work "Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring" BWV 147 in the B-section of the song which is in the minor key. Listen to the first fiddle, did I succeed? You tell me… :D
