A short meditative piece to be sung during Communion. The melody is adapted from a traditional Bolivian melody - Dulce Jesus Mio. The words are by Exeter (UK) poet Richard Skinner.

The song could perhaps be sung first as a solo, then hummed, then sung in four parts.

Both Christmas and Easter versions are presented on the mp3. The Christmas version was recorded at the 2012 Christmas midnight eucharist at St David’s Church, Exeter. The recording machine was at some distance from the choir, so hardly studio conditions. You can hear movement of the congregation coming for Communion, and some words of administration. The Easter version was recorded by the Langford Singers (Devon, UK) in August 2013.
