Brejeiro is one of the most beautiful pieces composed by the great pioneer of Brazilian music Ernesto Nazareth (18963-1934), which he subtitles "tango". According to researchers, it is actually the beginning of Brazilian choro. It was customary at the time to title the compositions "Brazilian tango or polka", but in fact it is the famous Brazilian choro. It is a piece full of syncopated rhythms and transitions from one key to another, which demands the attention of the artists who play it.
